New Beta release of Nmap
It appears Fyodor and company are getting close to the first major release of nmap since 4.76 over 6 months ago and best of all they want your help testing it!
Today the nmap crew released version 4.85BETA4. To quote Fyodor's words...
"4.85BETA4 includes our new Ncat and Ndiff tools, a ton of new NSE scripts for superior network discovery, more than 5,000
version detection signatures and nearly 2,000 OS fingerprints, improved scan performance, and much more!". For more details see the release notes.
As usual you can download nmap from nmap.org.
