We talked about the DST change in our diary http://isc.sans.edu/diary.html?storyid=9898. We have received reports that iphone will not recognize the date change and similar problems with other cellphone companies. It is worth checking whether your phone, computer and other electronic devices automatically switched their date to have no further problems. Do not forget to let us know through our contact form if you encountered problems in this regard.

With my Roger's phones I found if I power them off and back on they get the updated time.
Of all things, my atomic clock didn't change to standard time until Sunday evening sometime.
My iPhone alarm did not go off this morning at 5:00 AM EST - like it use to EVERY weekday morning.
The clock on my iPhone seemed to switch over without incident, but I was not using an alarm.
There was a fairly well-publicized iPhone big affecting recurring alarms. Any *recurring* ('repeat every') alarms created prior to the time change will not function properly. You should delete them all and re-create any you need. Non-recurring alarms are not affected. There will be a fix for this released later this month, as the bug was discovered too late to get the update out in time.
Yes, I read that during the time change in the UK last weekend. Glad my backup night-stand clock was all good. :-)

I noticed my iPod Touch switched back an hour back on Nov 1, instead of today.

Most of my problems are with old VCRs and Clocks that implement pre-2007 rules and don't have any mechanism for consumer firmware upgrades.

You'd think getting CST/DST right would be simple, but I guess simple one-day gotchas are the ones most likely to result in errors, especially when the rules keep getting changed arbitrarily.

My iPhone-4 worked flawlessly over the change and beyond. However, I did as usual shut down/restart before/after the time change.
